BrowserGenie ("the Extension") is a browser extension that allows AI agents to control your browser via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). We are committed to protecting your privacy.

We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

Data Collection

BrowserGenie does not collect:

• Personal identification information
• Browsing history or visited URLs
• Cookies or storage data you access through the extension
• Keystrokes, clicks, or any user interactions
• IP addresses or device information
• Any analytics or telemetry data

How the Extension Works

BrowserGenie operates entirely on your local machine. All communication happens locally between the browser extension and your local MCP server. No data is sent to any external server, cloud service, or third party.

Permissions

The extension requests certain browser permissions (such as tab access, cookies, and storage) solely to enable AI agent automation on your device. These permissions are never used to collect or transmit data outside your local environment.

Third-Party Services

BrowserGenie does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
